Sadie Amara Calvano has become popular for her role as Violet Plunkett that she played on the CBS sitcom Mom. A California resident, Calvano was initially interested in competitive gymnastics. She later chose to make a move acting. Her screen debut came in 2010 on one of the episodes from CBS program 'NCIS'. The biographical crime drama movie J Edgar was her big screen debut a year following. Through the years, she established herself as one of the most prestigious young actors working today. In 2011 she won the Young Artist Award nomination for the top Actress in TV Series and guest Actress 11-15. She was also nominated in 2013 for an additional Young Artist Award, this time due to her performance as a guest star on Disney XD's comedic series "Kickin' it".
