Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn, an American actress. She is most famous for her character Skyler White on The AMC television drama Breaking Bad for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actress in A Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. In addition to playing Martha Bullock and Jean Ward, she has appeared in The Practice. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in the year 1968. She fell in love performing in Preparatory School after which she moved to Ohio with her family in late 1970s. She attended the British American Drama Academy and pursued a degree in theater as a student at Northwestern University. Anna worked in the theatre of the Chicago area for several years before trying her hand at TV and film roles. Anna's debut role was Arden on Down the Shore. She appeared on 29 episodes. From the start of her career, she performed as a regular guest in TV and film including Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood for two seasons. In 2008, she was a part as Skyler as Skyler in Breaking Bad. She also starred in the Deadwood movie and Sully. Gunn has also appeared on stage and played in the David Swimer-directed version of Sex With Strangers. She played the role in the four-part podcast audio drama Numbered days, which came out in 2022. The main storyline of Breaking Good is revolves around the love story between Walter White, his wife Skyler and their relationship that is strained. The strained relationship and eventual end of it are reminiscent of the end of Walter White's story.
